How to Install python-pyip software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

python-pyip software package provides Python modules for raw ip packet assembling/disassembling, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install python-pyip

python-pyip is installed in your system.

Make ensure the python-pyip package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-pyip *

You will get with python-pyip package name, version, architecture and description in a table
